Ready for a BBQ?

Top Searched Grills on AOL Search:

2. George Foreman grill
3. Brinkman grill
4. Charbroil grill
5. Ducane grill
6. Charmglow grill
7. Holland grill
8. Coleman grill

The smokey aromas of my neighbor's barbecue wafted in through my window this afternoon, making my mouth water. I craved the burgers and vegetables he was grilling up, but I didn't have my own BBQ to cook on.

With summer right around the corner, I decided it was high time I buy my own grill. So, I jumped on AOL Search to find out which model would be best for me. Check out our top searched list of grills to see which barbecues are our users' favorites.

I had to figure out which type of grill I wanted -- gas, charcoal, electric or propane. Each contributes its own unique flavor to the food that is cooking. Electric grills, like number 2 on our list, are the easiest to use, but they don't have the same backyard barbecue feel that propane and gas grills do. Charcoal grills take the most time to prep and offer a distinct smoky flavor.

What BBQ do you use? Let us know! Search for more grills on AOL Search.

As part of my spring cleaning binge, I was chasing dust bunnies around my house with my big cumbersome vacuum. Don't get me wrong. I love my full-size vacuum for going over carpets, but it just doesn't cut it for those hard to reach places. I checked in with AOL Searchers to see which handheld vacuums were their favorites. Check out the list above!

The top searched handheld cleaner on our list comes from Shark vacuums. The cordless Shark handheld model is suited for those hard to reach places all over your home, office and car. Their models are lightweight but have strong suction, and some even have HEPA filters.

My office staple is the Data-Vac PC handheld vacuum, number 6 on our list. This tiny vacuum gets in between the keys on your keyboard to suck out pesky dirt and dust.

Do you have a vacuum that you love? If not, you can try searching for handheld vacuums on AOL Search or check out the vacuum cleaners on AOL Shopping. For more vacuum cleaners, check out our top searched list of full-size vacuums.

7. Tung Gel

Ever gotten a bad taste in your mouth while you were talking with someone? You realize that your breath probably isn't as minty fresh as earlier today, but there isn't much you can do about it at that point. If this problem happens to you often, it's time to step up and banish your bad breath forever.

Halitosis can happen for a multitude of reasons. Diet is an obvious cause. That garlic, onion, pepper and salami sandwich you had for lunch can really cause your breath to stink. However, if you stay away from stinky foods and tobacco and still find that you have problems with bad breath, it's time to visit your dentist or doctor.

Bad breath is caused by a build up of bacteria and other toxins in your mouth. Your dental hygiene could be to blame! Check in with your dentist regularly for a professional cleaning, and make sure are brushing and flossing every day. Pay extra attention to your tongue, where odor causing bacteria can nestle in.

Stinky breath can also be an indicator of a a medical disorder. Infections in your respiratory tract and sinuses can cause a rotten odor. If your dentist says your teeth and gums are healthy, but you still can't get rid of bad breath, make an appointment with your doctor.

In the meantime, there are several treatments out there to help your halitosis. Check out our top searched list above.

The top searched treatment, WaterPik, is an effective alternative to dental floss. The WaterPik uses water jets to remove plaque, which means no more fussing with stringy floss.

Other products on our list contain antiseptics that reduce plaque and gingivitis, which can lead to fresher breath. Chlorine dioxide, an active ingredient in many mouthwashes and toothpastes, kills odor causing bacterias in your mouth. You can find it in products like ProFresh, number 6, and Dioxicare, number 10.

How do you keep your breath fresh? Tell us about it! Search for more bad breath treatments on AOL Search.

3. Gastric bypass surgery
4. Cataract surgery
5. Bariatric surgery
6. Lasik surgery
7. Tummy tuck surgery

I was playing a game of beach football when my friend tackled me a bit too hard. My foot was stuck in the sand and when I fell, my knee snapped the wrong way and I tore my meniscus and my ACL. I was devastated but I quickly scheduled knee surgery and began my path towards recovery.

Surgery can be expensive and painful, but it is the fastest way to heal after an injury and sometimes the best way to treat a medical problem. After my ordeal, I decided to see what surgeries other AOL Searchers were looking for. Check out our top searched list!

I was surprised to find out that many of the surgeries you are searching for are voluntary! In fact, the top searched surgery on our list, eyelid surgery, is mostly cosmetic. While eye plastic surgery can make your face look ten years younger, other eye surgeries on the list are far more life changing. Laser eye surgery, number 6, can correct impaired vision so that you may never have to wear glasses or contacts again. Imagine waking up and being able to see everything perfectly. Its a dream come true.

Looking for a quick fix? Those of you who are going under the knife are also looking for weight loss surgeries. With the obesity epidemic spreading across America, obesity surgeries are a fast way for the morbidly overweight to reach a healthier weight. Surgeries like gastric bypass surgery and lap band surgery act as preventative measures so that weight will not cause unnecessary health issues or put undue stress on your body.

With all the weight loss patients can accomplish from weight loss surgeries, many elect to have more surgery to remove excess skin. Tummy tuck surgery, number 7 on our list, is a popular solution. Actress Patricia Heaton admitted to having a little nip tuck after giving birth.

Have you ever had surgery? Tell us about it! Search for more information about surgery on AOL Search and AOL Health.

Miss California vs. Perez Hilton

The Miss USA competition is over, but the dust is still settling from the bomb that went off between Perez Hilton and Miss California, Carrie Prejean. During the question and answer portion of Sunday's pageant, Hilton, a competition judge, asked Miss California her stance on same-sex marriages. Amidst boos and cheers, Prejean announced she believes in 'opposite marriage,' meaning between a man and woman.

After the show was over, a frustrated Hilton trashed the contestant's answer on his blog, calling her dumb. Miss California lost to Miss North Carolina, but she is still making all the headlines, proving you should never rub a gossip columnist the wrong way.

Happy Earth Day!

Top Searched Ways to Go Green on AOL Search:

3. Energy Star Appliances
4. Cork Flooring
5. Hybrid Cars
6. Reusable Shopping Bag
7. Rechargeable Batteries
8. Green Cleaning Products
9. Organic Food

Earth Day is a great time to remind us why it's important to consider how our everyday actions will affect the environment for years to come. There are so many simple things a person can do to help save our environment and planet.

Recycling is an easy task and can save natural resources and energy. Recycling the most common materials, such as aluminum cans, glass bottles, paper, plastic and steel/tin cans, can help protect our ozone layer, decrease pollution and decrease tree cuttings.

Driving hybrid cars results in less fuel consumption, which in turn addresses the issues of smog and global warming.

Of course making these changes alone are not enough, so I decided to find out other ways AOL Search users help the environment. Check out our list of the top searched ways to go green (above).

A great way to save energy by at least 75 percent is to use compact fluorescent bulbs. These work just as well as regular light bulbs but last up to 10 times longer. Other ways to go green are use cork flooring, reusable shopping bags and solar panels.

Do you know of any other great tips to help save our planet? If so, please tell us about them. Search for more green products on AOL Search.

What Is Ailing You?

Top Searched Diseases on AOL Search:
1. Diabetes
2. MRSA
3. HPV
4. HIV/AIDS
5. Meningitis
6. Hepatitis
7. Chlamydia
8. Alzheimer's Disease
9. Tuberculosis
10. Heart Disease

We try to keep our bodies in tip-top condition in order to avoid illness, but some diseases can attack even the healthiest human. When signs and symptoms of sickness present themselves, many people turn to the web for advice. Check out our list of the top searched diseases to see what our users are searching for.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, heart disease is the number 1 cause of death in the United States, but it only ranked number 10 on our Hot Searches list. Instead, diabetes took the top spot, which the CDC named the sixth leading cause of death in 2005.

Most diseases fall into two categories: intrinsic and extrinsic. Intrinsic diseases occur within the individual, and extrinsic diseases are caused by an outside source, such as a virus or bacteria.

Many intrinsic diseases are related to genetics and/or lifestyle choices. For example, diabetes, number 1 on our list, can be attributed to one's diet and fitness level (for those suffering from Type 2 diabetes).

Extrinsic diseases, such as viruses, are infectious and can transfer from one person to another. Tuberculosis, number 9 on our list, spreads through the air as a bacteria and can be transferred when people cough and sneeze. STDs, which account for a fifth of our list, are easily transferred among partners who show no signs or symptoms.

Is there a disease that you go online to learn more about? If you think you are experiencing any of these health issues you should see your doctor, but you can also learn more by searching for diseases on AOL Search or going to AOL Health for information.
